White Label Terms

These White Label Terms apply to all white label orders and form part of our Trade Terms & Conditions of Sale. If there is a conflict, these White Label Terms take priority for white label orders.
Section 01
The product
1.1 White label products are supplied as 30g tins, with the matcha sealed in a foil pouch inside, bearing your branding.
1.2 The minimum order is 100 tins per order unless we agree otherwise in writing.
1.3 You may choose from our current grades: Barista, Premium Barista or First Harvest.
Section 02
Artwork and design
2.1 You may supply your own print-ready artwork to our specification, or ask one of our designers to create it for a design fee, which we will quote in advance.
2.2 Design fees are payable upfront and are non-refundable once design work has started.
2.3 Our quoted design fee includes up to 2 rounds of revisions. Further revisions may be charged.
Section 03
Your rights in the artwork
3.1 You confirm you own, or have permission to use, all logos, brand names, images and text you supply or approve.
3.2 You will indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from any infringement of a third party's rights by the artwork or branding.
3.3 You own the finished artwork once the design fee is paid in full. We may keep a copy for production and our records, and may show a photograph of the finished product in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
Section 04
Proof approval
4.1 We will send you a digital proof before production. Production will not start until you approve the proof in writing (email is fine).
4.2 You are responsible for checking the proof carefully, including spelling, brand names, contact details and all label information. We are not responsible for any error in a proof you have approved.
4.3 Colours in digital proofs and printed tins may vary slightly.
Section 05
Food labelling responsibility
5.1 As the brand shown on the tin, you are responsible for ensuring the label complies with UK food labelling law, including the name of the food, net quantity, your business name and UK address, storage instructions, and any claims you choose to include.
5.2 We will provide the product information needed for the label, including ingredients (100% green tea powder), country of origin, recommended storage and allergen information. We will apply the batch/lot code and best-before date to each tin.
5.3 You must not include any health, nutrition or medicinal claims on the label or in your marketing unless they are permitted under UK law. We may refuse to produce any label we reasonably believe does not comply.
Section 06
Payment
All white label orders, including design fees, must be paid in full before production starts.
Section 07
Lead times
We will confirm an estimated lead time with your quote. Lead times start from the later of proof approval and receipt of payment, and are estimates only.
Section 08
Cancellation
White label orders are made to order and cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Section 09
Quality, faults and returns
9.1 White label products are non-returnable unless faulty, damaged in transit, or not matching the approved proof.
9.2 Faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will reprint or refund the affected tins at our option.
9.3 A small variation in quantity delivered (up to 5% over or under the ordered amount) is normal in production and will be charged or credited at the unit price.
Section 10
Exclusivity
Unless agreed in writing, we do not grant exclusivity. We may supply the same grade of matcha to other customers, including under other brands.
Section 11
Liability
The limitation of liability in our Trade Terms & Conditions of Sale applies to white label orders.
Section 12
Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
